Lincoln Live returns for 2025 on Saturday 30 August (1 pm–8 pm) and Sunday 31 August (12 pm–5 pm) in City Square (Sincil Street, LN5 7ET). This free festival, hosted by the City of Lincoln Council and curated by BBC Introducing, brings the best of Lincolnshire’s emerging music scene to the heart of the city.
The main stage, hosted by BBC Introducing’s Dean Jackson, features rising local and regional talent, including Hermione, Cherryholt, Vigilantes, Dom Malin, and Santino Game. As you enjoy the tunes, grab a drink from the official bar by Sipwell Events—offering Lincolnshire ales, a special Lincoln Live cocktail, premium spirits, and soft drinks.
For a more relaxed vibe, head uphill to Lincoln Live Unplugged at St Paul in the Bail, curated by Southside Lincoln. It’s an intimate acoustic zone featuring artists like Allie Argent, Tinned Peaches, Rhys Turner, Carrianne Rogers, and the Birdcage Ukulele Orchestra, set amidst cosy décor with plants, rugs, disco balls, and sofas.
The location couldn’t be better, on the doorstep of Cornhill Market, so you’ve got quick access to food, refreshments and toilets. Some seating and deckchairs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own and settle in. The event is open and free for all ages, family-friendly, accessible, and a perfect way to wave goodbye to summer with local music, good vibes, and community energy.
